LG Watch W7: mechanical hands and up to 100 days of work

Following the flagship smartphone V40 ThinQ, LG introduced the LG Watch W7 smart watch. The novelty combines the usual functions of a smart gadget and a classic design with real mechanical arrows. In addition to the original appearance, a key feature of the device was a record battery life.

At first glance, the gadget is almost the same as a mechanical wristwatch - a 1.2-inch LED display, located under the hands, simulates a dial in Watch Only mode. The analog part of the device works independently of the smart and is able to show time up to one hundred days on one battery charge.

When the display is turned on using all the Wear OS functions, the watch works up to two days. To save battery, the screen can be switched to standby mode. So that the arrows do not interfere with the viewing of notifications, they can be temporarily shifted by pressing a button on the case. At the same time, the image on the screen shifts, making it easier to read information. The clock is controlled using two buttons and a wheel, familiar to the owners of the clock, located on the side of the device.

Under the "hood" of the LG Watch W7 is the Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 2100 chipset. The capacity of the built-in battery is 240 mAh.

The watch is equipped with a heart rate sensor, an altimeter, a barometer, a GPS module and is protected from moisture. LTE and NFC have not received the current version of the watch, however, the company promises to add these features in future models.
